The ontological separation between "nature" and "culture" has structured fields of knowledge and action for several centuries, essentializing an anthropocentric view of "nature."

This segmentation is reaching its limits, particularly in the context of the urgency of environmental and social crises, and new metadisciplinary approaches are developing that propose a different way of addressing human-nature/society-environment interactions.

Aimed at scientists, doctoral students, and undergraduates, this series of lectures brings together specialists in the humanities and social sciences on the one hand, and ecology (in the broad sense) and the environment on the other, to discuss major environmental issues. In collaboration with the University of Montpellier (UM), Paul Valéry University (UPVM), La Maison des Sciences de l'Homme- Sciences et Société Unies pour un autre Développement (MSH-SUD), Les défis Clés BiodivOc and RIVOC.
